Making Sense of Social Media: Conference


In late April, TEKRI hosted Making Sense of Social Media in Government, the Enterprise, and Education.

The conference started with an opening "boot camp" on Sunday where a group of 50 participants engaged in discussion on social media examples and uses. TEKRI's George Siemens, Mack Male (a local social media enthusiast) and Stella Lee led the session. Notes, links, and resources from the boot camp are available here.

The main conference on Monday consisted of an opening keynote by Dave Snowden from Cognitive Edge,  followed by a series of panels addressing the use of social media by organizations in Alberta and beyond.
